Academics
-
All of our students receive 12 hours of class per 4-day week (9am-12 noon / Monday-Thursday) with an optional hour of popular dancing or typical cooking classes at the afternoon, both dictated in spanish. Classes are taught in groups of no more than 5 students. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are available for weekend excursions.
-
An initial placement test determines the appropriate class for each student.
-
Our classes are taught by accredited professors with university and/or secondary teaching experience.
-
Students may choose a 1 - 4 week program and, if they wish, may schedule a longer stay on their application form. We can accommodate our guests for any length of time!
Immersion Learning
-
Immersion learning supplements traditional classroom instruction with real-life experiences, enabling you to make practical use of your new skills. It dramatically decreases the time required to become conversational in a foreign language.
-
Immersion learning will force you to step outside the comfort-zone of your own native language and familiar culture. It will give you the opportunity to learn without the fear of failure or judgment.
-
Immersion learning will teach you valuable social interaction skills specific to the language and culture of the host country.
-
Immersion learning is ENJOYABLE! At times, it will be very easy to forget that learning is taking place. Come prepared to surprise yourself as you are going to learn way more than you expected!
